Think…Thanks

“I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.” ~G.K. Chesterton

“God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?” ~William A. Ward

“Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don’t unravel.” ~Author Unknown

I’m thankful for:

Little Kerry showing more interest in reading lately.

–the “off “switch on the T.V., and that I’ve remembered how to use it! ;-)

–ENCOURAGEMENT. God finds so many ways, both big and small, to uplift me all along the way. James 4:10 says, Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

–God’s Word. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

–the scene unfolding around me this evening, just now, as I’m typing this post. My darling husband is softly playing the piano, while Sarah is happily reading to little Kerry. (Pretty sweet, I tell ya…yep, pretty sweet.) -)
