Aren’t GrandPARENTS–Grand?

Grandparents are so wonderful that they certainly deserve (at the very least) one post just about them. I’d like to begin this post with some AWESOME quotes:

There’s no place like home except Grandma’s. ~Author Unknown

Grandfathers are just antique little boys. ~Author Unknown

Grandmas hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but our hearts forever. ~Author Unknown

A grandfather is someone with silver in his hair and gold in his heart. ~Author Unknown

A child needs a grandparent, anybody’s grandparent, to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world. ~Charles and Ann Morse

Don’t you just love quotes like that–they’re so true, aren’t they? Our children are extremely blessed to have all their grandparents living close-by to them. It’s quite obvious that our kids love them all very, very much…

So, now, you may “meet” the grandparents:

–Grandma & Grand-Daddy (Scott’s parents):

–Grandma & Grandpa (my parents):

**Note: Quotes used in this post were found here.

**P.S.: I may post other pictures, once I finally find them! Organization is not always my strong-point! 😀

  1. Yes, it is such a blessing. Scott and I both realize this, because neither of us have had any of our grandparents (or aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) living nearby. Family is so important and such a wonderful gift from God.

  2. What a blessing that your children have both sets of grandparents living and nearby! My kids have mentioned before how they miss not having a grandfather. Both the grandfathers passed away before my son was even born. Anyhow, glad your kids are enjoying the grandparents and the grandparents enjoying the kids. 🙂
