Glory Be To God–Hallelujah!

I woke up this morning warring in the Spirit. I wanted to be cranky, snappy, and snippy…and for a little while I was. The flesh is weak, I tell you…the flesh is weak! However, His Holy Spirit is stronger! Glory Be To God–Hallelujah!!

This is the song He gave me in the midst of my battle this morning, and this song has been with me all day long…to help carry me through…

Our Great God

By: Todd Agnew and Rebecca St. James

Eternal God, unchanging
Mysterious and unknown
Your boundless love, unfailing
In grace and mercy shown

Bright seraphim in ceaseless flight around Your glorious throne
They raise their voices day and night in praise to You alone

Hallelujah, Glory be to our great God

Lord, we are weak and frail
Helpless in the storm
Surround us with Your angels
Hold us in Your arms

Our cold and ruthless enemy, his pleasure is our harm
Rise up, O Lord, and he will flee before our sovereign God

Let every creature in the sea and every flying bird
Let every mountain, every field and valley of the earth

Let all the moons and all the stars in all the universe
Sing praises to the living God who rules them by His word

  1. Hi Cody. Thanks for stopping by. Yes, it’s great when God gives us these little gifts–I’m praying and seeking to take more notice of them!

  2. Isn’t it great how God gives us these little things to brighten our days or our lives?

  3. Would someone please give me the chords for
    “Our Great God”?

    Thank you.

  4. Hi Leo,

I haven’t been playing guitar much lately, but I found the chords to “Our Great God” (by Fernando Ortega). The words and tune are the same “Our Great God” (song done by Todd Agnew). (However, the key of the song and rhythm might differ).

You may find the chords by clicking on the following link:

    Hope this helps!
