Can’t Thank Him Enough

Thank You Lord For Saving My Soul

Thank You Lord for saving my soul,
Thank You Lord for making me whole.
Thank You Lord for giving to me,
Thy great salvation, so rich and free.

Thank You Lord for saving my soul,
Thank You Lord for making me whole.
Thank You Lord for giving to me,
Thy great salvation, so rich and free.

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:4-7

Still Giving Thanks…1/29/09

I am thankful for:

–exercise…or more precisely the ability to still do it. Even though it is much more painful than it used to be, it’s not impossible. Actually, I’ve found that if I’m going to be in pain anyway (from arthritis), that it might as well be productive pain! 🙂

–other homeschool moms

–a book called “The Strong-Willed Child” by Dr. James Dobson

–my new B.B. Ladies’ Circle (prayer, fellowship, devotionals, Bible study, etc.)

–humor…what a gift!! 🙂

–Facebook…I’ve reconnected with so many familiar faces…it’s been great!!

–God’s amazing love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. I’m so thankful for HIS perfect understanding, will, and way. I thank Him for His guidance, discernment, and wisdom!!

Sparrows Don’t Worry…

…so, why should we?

I’m thankful for:

Little Kerry showing more interest in reading lately.

–the “off “switch on the T.V., and that I’ve remembered how to use it! ;-)

–ENCOURAGEMENT. God finds so many ways, both big and small, to uplift me all along the way. James 4:10 says, Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

–God’s Word. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

–the scene unfolding around me this evening, just now, as I’m typing this post. My darling husband is softly playing the piano, while Sarah is happily reading to little Kerry. (Pretty sweet, I tell ya…yep, pretty sweet.) -)
