Praise Thy Glorious Name

“Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.” –1 Chronicles 29:11-13

I Thank God For:

–the fun time we had this past weekend; playing board games with family, while the kids played with their cousins. (The kids enjoyed making tents outside, climbing trees, and harrassing…I mean…playing with the cat. )

–Scott having Mon. off and the extra time we had together as a family.

–giving us good days along with the bad. I’m thankful that the bad days don’t last forever. I praise and thank Him that even though Tues. was an especially rough day, Wed. was much better, and today has been great!

–our new(er) van (great condition, A/C, reliable, comfortable, etc.). I am once again praising and thanking God that we were able to get our new van this past Spring, because we definitely need it now (with our weekly commute to the CC homeschooling program).

–our ride to the first CC classes today. We went the easiest, most straight-forward way today, and we didn’t have wrong directions from the Internet! It was simple to get there…we didn’t get lost, we didn’t have to turn around, and it didn’t take nearly as long. We even got there with 10-15 min. to spare!

–the Classical Conversations program. I am SOOOO, SOOOO, SOOOO thankful! (Did I mention that I’m very thankful? ) Anyway, today went really well…I’ll try to describe it more later in a different post.
